Creative Connections

At Paradigm Neurodiversity, we believe that wellbeing grows through meaningful relationships, shared experiences, and feeling part of a community. Our Creative Connections programmes are designed to bring neurodivergent children, young people, adults, parents, carers, and families together in safe, welcoming, neuro-affirming spaces where everyone is accepted for who they are.

Guided by the Paradigm Framework of Acceptance, Belonging, Connection, and the opportunity to Flourish (ABCF), our programmes encourage people to build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, discover their strengths, and experience the benefits of being part of a supportive community.

Whether you're looking to meet others with shared experiences, explore creativity, strengthen family relationships, or simply find a place where you belong, Creative Connections offers opportunities to connect, grow, and flourish—together.

Family Connect

Family Connect

Family Connect

Designed for neurodivergent children and their parent or carer to enjoy quality time together, Family Connect is a supportive space that enables parents/carers and their children to connect through creative activities.

These sessions strengthen relationships, encourage communication and provide a shared, positive experience in an inclusive environment.

Through creative activities and shared experiences, families can strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create positive memories in a supportive, neuro-affirming environment.

Dads Connect

Family Connect

Family Connect

Dads Connect is a relaxed, welcoming group for fathers, male carers, and father figures of neurodivergent children and young people. The group provides an opportunity to connect with others who understand, reduce isolation, and enjoy time for themselves.

Moving away from traditional support groups, sessions combine hands-on creative activities—led by local artists, makers, and skilled craftspeople—with informal conversation in a friendly, non-judgemental environment. Whether its woodwork, model making, leathercraft, or other practical projects, the focus is on building confidence, learning new skills, and developing supportive connections through shared creativity.

Young Connect

Family Connect

A supportive, creative group for young carers and siblings in neurodivergent families, offering a safe space to connect with others, be heard, and simply enjoy being themselves. Many young people in these roles take on additional responsibilities or can feel overlooked as family life centres around the needs of others.

Sessions combine creative activities, games, and shared experiences to encourage friendships, build confidence, and support emotional wellbeing in a fun, inclusive environment. Young people are given the opportunity to relax, express themselves, develop their own identity beyond their caring role or family circumstances, and enjoy time that is just for them.

Create & Connect

Create & Connect is a welcoming, intergenerational community craft group where people of all ages can come together to enjoy creativity, conversation, and companionship in a relaxed, neuro-affirming environment. Whether you enjoy knitting, crochet, drawing, painting, or simply spending time with others, there's a place for everyone.

Hosted in a shared community space at Kirtsy's Tea Room & Cakery, Create & Connect is about bringing people together, reducing social isolation, improving wellbeing and fostering a sense of community where everyone feels welcome.

Parent & Carer Connect

Parent & Carer Connect

A welcoming, non-traditional wellbeing group for parents and carers of neurodivergent children, offering a relaxed and creative space to connect with others who understand.  Through creative activities, conversation, and peer support, participants can share experiences, reduce isolation, and focus on their own wellbeing.

Sessions blend creativity, gentle wellbeing practices, and informal discussion in a supportive environment. This is not a space for criticising services or focusing on deficits, but one that encourages reflection, mutual support, and positive, constructive conversations.

Seasonal Connect

Parent & Carer Connect

Seasonal Connect offers a programme of one-off creative wellbeing workshops inspired by the changing seasons and special celebrations throughout the year. From Christmas wreath making, Easter and Halloween creations and other themed events, each workshop provides an opportunity to step away from everyday demands and enjoy dedicated time for yourself.

Designed for parents, carers, and adults, these relaxed sessions combine creativity with connection. Whether attending with a friend, booking as a thoughtful gift, or simply treating yourself, Seasonal Connect offers a chance to unwind, learn something new, and leave with both a handmade creation and a renewed sense of wellbeing.
