We believe in embracing the unique strengths of neurodivergent children and young people. Whether we offer neuro-affirming therapeutic support, or training and upskilling professionals, therapists and practitioners, or even enjoying a coffee with families, we validate everyone's experiences as their truth and reality.

We want each neurodivergent child and young person to be their best and happiest authentic selves, fully accepted by their family, caregivers, and educational and vocational environments. Through our CPD training, we emphasize that family support and acceptance are crucial for fostering a sense of belonging. These elements are key drivers in maintaining positive mental health and reducing psychological and physical burnout, especially for neurodivergent children.

We are committed to empowering parents, caregivers, practitioners, and professionals to support neurodivergent children and young people through a strengths-based model alongside the SPELL framework and an experience-sensitive approach. Our CPD training is designed to enhance family support and promote an inclusive culture that embraces diversity in all its forms while also aiding positive mental health. We pledge to integrate mental health counselling into our framework to further support the well-being of neurodivergent children.

We believe that every neurodivergent child and young person has the right to embrace and express their authentic self, free from judgment and full of potential. We are dedicated to fostering environments that provide inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and promote equity, which are pivotal in creating a sense of physical and mental well-being. Our family support initiatives, alongside mental health counselling, further our commitment to cultivating a world where neurodivergent children and young people thrive, respected for who they are and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

Better mental health is not just the absence of distress; it is a space in which neurodivergent strengths can more fully emerge. Factors like social misunderstanding, stigma, sensory overload, and lack of appropriate support can erode wellbeing over time. At Paradigm Neurodiversity we advocate reducing exclusion, adapting our services, and recognising that poor mental health is often a response to an unaccommodating environment, not an inherent feature of being neurodivergent.
We are in a fortunate position to offer free counselling for parents/carers of neurodivergent children. Through our cooperation with Chrysalis Courses, our counselling interns create a non-judgemental safe space using a neuro-affirming approach by validating feelings and experiences grounded in empathy and inclusion.
Additionally, we provide mental health counselling through creative ACT sessions for neurodivergent 0–25-year-olds. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on helping children and young people accept their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them.

As part of our commitment to ongoing professional learning, we offer CPD training grounded in the SPELL framework, ensuring that all practitioners build consistent, autism-informed approaches across settings. Our training and webinar series explore key areas that families and professionals often navigate together—such as sleeping differences, relationships with food, and understanding the sensory world. These sessions combine current research with practical strategies, helping participants deepen empathy, adapt environments, and respond to individual needs more effectively. By sharing knowledge and reflective practice, we strengthen the collective capacity of families and professionals to support neurodivergent wellbeing in everyday life.

Our aim is to empower parents, siblings, and caregivers of neurodivergent children and young people. By working in tandem with you and your family, we can identify what support looks like in practice: strategies that fit your daily routines, communication styles that reduce stress, and adjustments that nurture both the neurodivergent person and their wider family. Using the National Autistic Society's SPELL framework, we can provide a consistent, compassionate foundation that helps families and professionals align their understanding and responses. Families can rebuild confidence through helping them recognise and celebrate success, strengthen understanding and acceptance across the whole family.
At Paradigm Neurodiversity, our aim is to change the narrative around neurodiversity. We use a strength-based model to identify positive qualities and valuable connections to enable children & young people to be their authentic selves. We work to reshape perceptions around neurodiversity through education, advocacy, and inclusive community initiatives.

We don't provide diagnoses. We do however connect you with trusted professionals and signposting like 'The Right for Choose' offer for neurodivergent diagnoses. We do offer pre- and post-diagnosis support to help you understand your diagnosis, accept the whole of you, and to live a life as your authentic self.
Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in human brain functioning. It describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits. At Paradigm Neurodiversity, we use the term ‘neurodivergence’ to include a number of conditions, not just autism and ADHD, with acknowledging the spectrum of human diversity.
You can support Paradigm Neurodiversity by volunteering, attending events, partnering with us, or making a donation. Every contribution helps us expand our outreach and advocacy efforts.
