Through my recent work experience as a Peer Support Worker with Norfolk and Waveney Mind, I was able to share my lived experience to show that recovery is possible.

As a proudly Autistic ADHDer diagnosed in adulthood, I understand first-hand the impact of late diagnosis and unmet support on individuals and families. I am also a proud mum of three wonderfully unique children, each with their own neurodivergent journeys.

My approach is strength-based, affirming, and focused on changing the narrative—one person at a time—so people feel supported to reach their full potential.  We are all so beautifully different and that's OK.

I offer a compassionate, person-centred approach, focused on creating an inclusive and empowering space for neurodivergent individuals and those who care for them. Through collaborative talking therapy, I provide a safe, non-judgemental environment where strengths can be explored, and challenges navigated with empathy and understanding.

I currently work within NHS Children’s Healthcare Services, delivering health checks in local schools, and I also have experience supporting neurodivergent adults in complex care settings. I hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology with Counselling and an NCFE CACHE Level 2 in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.

Alongside my professional work, my own lived experience of mental health and an OCD diagnosis has shaped my belief in lifelong self-understanding, growth, and the importance of feeling truly heard.

 Hi, my name is Adam.

I'm currently on the Chrysalis level 5 course in counselling skills and theory. I'm a non-binary, disabled, neurodivergent counselling student (AuDHD, amongst other diagnoses) with a specific interest in counselling trans and neurodivergent clients, as well as those who care for neurodivergent family.

My approach is pluralistic and will always be tailored to the person in the room with me, as I wish to create a safe, collaborative environment where we can explore your needs as best as possible.

Outside of counselling study, I am a woodcarver, amateur digital artist, and a roller derby player.

I've spent much of the last decade using my experience of being neurodivergent to help others come to recognise their own strengths, needs, and how to best advocate for themselves in a world that often feels stacked against us. Turning this around and helping people find the tools and support they need to thrive has been central to my journey in becoming a counsellor.

Nice to meet you :) I'm Emily, a counselling intern at Paradigm Neurodiversity. I'm lucky to have been accepted to complete my placement at Paradigm Neurodiversity while studying towards my counselling diploma.

I am training in Integrative Counselling, and my approach is rooted in person-centred core values of authenticity, warm non-judgement, and empathy, while bringing in aspects and tools of CBT and psychodynamic counselling where together we agree this is useful.

Alongside my lived experience of late-diagnosed ADHD and mental health conditions, I have worked alongside neurodivergent people and people with lived experiences of challenging circumstances for 16+ years. I'm passionate about collaboration and working together equally throughout the process.

I started my counselling training journey a few years ago so that I could work with neurodivergent children and their families, after my experience of the seen and unseen weight of being both the young person and the advocate, supporter and cheerleader. This ignited a passion to support others, from becoming a befriender for neurodivergent children to now being in the final year of a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice, which followed the COSCA Certificate in Counselling.

I am a mum of two wonderful, unique, neurodivergent teenagers who face challenges in a system that doesn’t support or celebrate them adequately - parenting them is a joy and has been exhausting and difficult too. My younger siblings faced similar challenges early on in life, their mental health struggles and the effect of late diagnosis impacting the whole family, without the framework of understanding we have now.

I offer a relaxed and warm space for you to talk, where I listen and support from a person-centred approach, encouraging you to share, with acceptance and without judgement, in the knowledge that I understand a small part of what you might be coping with on a day-to-day, and longer-term, basis.

I am an integrative counsellor in training, currently completing my final year of Level 5 in Therapeutic Counselling. I am really excited to join Paradigm Neurodiversity as a student counsellor.

My approach is warm, compassionate and flexible, drawing from a range of counselling theories to meet each person where they are. I believe that everyone deserves to be truly heard and supported as they explore their emotions, challenges and strengths in a safe, non-judgmental space.

I have a real passion for helping others feel seen and understood, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. It is a privilege to walk alongside people on their journey towards self-discovery and growth, and I am dedicated to creating a space where you can simply be yourself.
